Engine Gateway YDEG-04
Gateway for Volvo Penta, BRP Rotax, SmartCraft (Mercury, Mercruiser) and J1939 engines to NMEA 2000 marine electronics network. It will provide you with engine revolutions, motor hours, coolant temperature, battery voltage, warning and alarms, fuel rate and other data on the screen of your chart plotter. No extra cables required in most cases thanks to a built-in Y-connector.
Gateway for Volvo Penta, BRP Rotax, SmartCraft (Mercury, Mercruiser) and J1939 engines to NMEA 2000 marine electronics networks. It will provides you with engine revolutions, motor hours, coolant temperature, battery voltage, warning and alarms, fuel rate and other data on the screen of your chart plotter.
The Engine Gateway is compatible with BRP Rotax, Yanmar 4JH series, SmartCraft (Mercury, Mercruiser), J1939 engines (Caterpillar, etc.) and most Volvo Penta engines manufactured since 2004, and even with some engines manufactured before 2000.
Compatible Volvo Penta engines:
- with all versions of EVC-B, EVC-C, EVC-D, EVC-E (most modern engines manufactured since 2006);
- D1 and D2 series with MDI (Mechanical Diesel Interface), for example D2-40F;
- EDC III and EDC IV diesel engines (EMS 2.0, EMS 2.2);
- with EVC-A MC and EVC-A EC (also known as EVCmc and EVCec);
- EFI engines with MEFI4B ECU or later (gasoline, 2004-2005), with or without an EVC system installed;
- all EGC engines (gasoline, 2005 and Later), with or without an EVC system installed.
For J1708, J1587 and Volvo Penta KAD, EDC I and EDC II engines, please see our new J1708 Engine Gateway YDES-04.
On most vessels with Volvo Penta engines, all that you need is to plug the device into an empty socket of the NMEA 2000 network backbone and connect the engine cable to a Multilink hub or, using the built-in Y-connector on the engine cable of Gateway, to connect it in series with any of the EVC tachometers.
For some engines (please see section IV of manual for details) an adaptor cable is required, and we offer different adaptor cables (see the bottom of this page) for a reasonable price (available in the accessories section of the ordering page).
Factory settings are suitable for most of vessels with one or two engines. In case of two or more engines, one Gateway is enough if they are joined to a single network.
NMEA2000, Raymarine NG
Yacht Devices are shipped Free via Air Mail directly from the manufacturer in Europe. Expected delivery is 2-3 weeks from receipt of order. Duty and import costs, if applicable, are not included in the price.
Voyage Recorder YDVR-04
Never forget exciting moments of your voyages, have proof of strong winds and great storms, accumulate data for future voyages and analyze your races, generate logbooks and diagnose problems. The Recorder is intended for storing data from the onboard network of the vessel on a MicroSD memory card. The software that comes with the Recorder is installed on a desktop computer and allows GPX and CSV files to be generated with the vessel’s track and extensive information about the sailing conditions, including weather, depth, engine, and even tracks of nearby vessels with AIS. GPX files can be viewed in Google Earth, Garmin MapSource and other cartographic applications. CSV files may be opened in spreadsheet applications like Microsoft Excel or LibreOffice Calc to visualize data using charts and build the graphic reports.
Humidity Sensor YDHS-01
Provides chart plotters and instrumental displays with humidity and air temperature measurements and calculated dew point temperature. High quality sensor with ±2 % RH and ±0.3 °C accuracy in most of the operating range. The device is plug and play; you only need to plug it into a NMEA 2000 backbone to get readings on all chart plotters and instruments on board.
WIFI Gateway, Yacht Devices YDWG02
If you wish to see marine data from a smartphone, you should choose the Wi-Fi Gateway. It can join an existing Wi-Fi network on board or establish its own. It is also a bi-directional gateway, and can also convert NMEA 2000 to NMEA 0183 and vice versa for compatibility with outdated software. The Web Gauges page of the internal website allow viewing of realtime vessel data (position, depth, wind, course and speed, engine, etc.) using a web browser on PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone. This listing is for the item on the right that connects to your NMEA2000 network.
Rudder Adapter YDRA-01
The NMEA 2000 Rudder Angle Adapter YDRA-01 allows you to connect an existing resistive type rudder angle sensor installed on a rudder and supply NMEA 2000 autopilots, chart plotters and other devices with the rudder angle. Can be used with a rudder angle sensor with maximal resistance less than 400 Ohm, including EU or US standard sensors, and with 0-5V voltage output sensors. The Adapter can work in parallel with an existing analog gauge.
